Who this policy covers
This policy explains how C&L East Los Angeles Insulation handles the information you share when you use our website, fill out our form or call us about a job. We're an insulation contractor in East Los Angeles, CA, and we work in homes and businesses in the cities around it.
It applies to this site, starting at our home page, and to the calls and messages that come from it. If you want to know more about who we are before you reach out, you can read about us.
What information we collect
When you fill out our contact form or call us, we collect what you choose to give us. That's usually your name, phone number, email address, the address of the property and a short description of the job, like a hot room upstairs, a drafty house or an old attic that needs work.
When we come out for an estimate, we may take notes and photos of the attic, crawl space or walls so we can price the job correctly. We use those for your job and nothing else.
Like most websites, ours also collects some information on its own when you visit. That can include your browser type, device, the pages you looked at, how you got to the site and a general location based on your internet connection. This comes from analytics tools and cookies, which are small files a website saves in your browser.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to answer your question, set up an estimate, schedule the work, send invoices and follow up after the job is done. If you call or write to us, we'll use your contact details to get back to you.
We use the site data to see which pages people find useful and to fix things that aren't working, so the site gets easier to use. We don't use it to build a profile of you.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone so they can market to you.
Who else sees it
A few outside services help us run the business, and they handle some of your information for us. Our contact form is run by an outside form service, and our analytics come from an outside provider. They get only what they need to do that job for us.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or our crew's safety, or if the business is ever sold, in which case the new owner would keep following this policy for the information they receive.
Cookies and how to turn them off
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. The site will still work if you do, though some features may not remember your choices.
You can also use your browser's private mode or a tracking blocker if you'd rather not be counted in our analytics.
How long we keep it
We keep job records, like estimates, invoices and notes about the work, for as long as we need them to stand behind the job, answer questions later and keep our tax and business records in order. Messages that never turn into a job are kept for a shorter time and then deleted.
Analytics data is kept by the analytics provider under its own retention settings and is not tied to your name.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. We'll do that unless we have to keep something for legal or business records, and if so we'll tell you what we kept and why.
Depending on where you live, the law may give you more rights over your information. Tell us what you're asking for and we'll work through it with you. We won't treat you differently for asking.
Our website isn't meant for children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, let us know and we'll delete it.
How we protect it
We keep your information in accounts that only we can get into, and we share it with our crew only when they need it to do your job. No system is perfect, so we can't promise nothing will ever go wrong, but if something does, we'll tell you what happened and what we're doing about it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page. The version posted here is the one that applies.
