For years I ran a small hauling business, clearing out garages and attics around East Los Angeles, and I kept finding insulation that was flattened, soaked or full of droppings. Seeing that over and over is what pulled me into this trade, so I learned it working beside an experienced installer, got licensed and opened C&L East Los Angeles Insulation in 2017.

I come out for every estimate myself, and at the end I walk through the finished work with you. A lead installer runs the crew in between, so the person who looked at your attic is the one who signs off on it.
We look for leaks, damp framing, droppings and old wiring first, because fresh insulation laid over a problem only hides it. We also seal the gaps around lights, pipes and the hatch, so the new insulation isn't fighting a draft.
If what's up there is still doing its job, I'll tell you so, and you won't be sold work you don't need. Sometimes the fix is a few sealed gaps, and sometimes it's nothing at all.
